Career

He spent his childhood within Puerto Madryn, within the province of Chubut, Argentina. He attended the youth system of top Argentine club Boca Juniors.

Lecce

In 2001 he was noticed via Lecce, whose sports manager Pantaleo Corvino decided towards fetch Ledesma towards Salento, whereas he immediately became a frequent within the team. At Lecce, despite being young, he was captain until November 2005.

Lazio
