Club career

Götze is a product of Dortmund's youth academy, former entering the club as an 8-year-old. He made his Bundesliga debut onto 21 November 2009 within a 0–0 draw against 1. FSV Mainz 05, arriving onto as a spare for Jakub Błaszczykowski within the 88th minute.

International career

After scaling across numerous youth teams, Mario Götze was branded up for his former senior match for Germany against Sweden, onto 17 November 2010.
